Home > Help Food Packages for families in need in village of Shabo
Shabo Village, located in the Odesa Region, is home to over 3,000 residents. In light of the ongoing challenges brought by the Russian full-scale invasion, the Shabo Village Council is requesting monthly humanitarian assistance to support vulnerable families, including low-income households, pensioners, people with disabilities, and internally displaced persons (IDPs) facing severe hardships.
Each package provides essential food and hygiene products, including rice, cereals, oil, flour, canned food, detergents, and personal hygiene items. The estimated cost of one package is 20 Euros, and these packages are delivered on a monthly basis to those in urgent need.
Since 2022, with the generous financial support of Christophe Lacarin and his collaboration with the Shabo Village Council, humanitarian aid has been delivered to 13 of the most vulnerable families. This includes the elderly, families with children who have disabilities, and IDPs. These families were selected in cooperation with the local social services of Shabo, though many more are in need of assistance.
Your support can help us expand this vital initiative and provide essential aid to even more families affected by the ongoing crisis.
RC Odesa International is responsible for purchasing products and delivering Help Packages.
